So recently our automatic pool cleaner started getting stuck on the main drain in our pool. So I was thinking there should be some sort of heavy rubber circular ramp a person could buy to soften the angle of the grate. I can't find anything like that. Any ideas?

It appears I can go with either a 1.5 or a 2" skimmer line. Since I'm going to be replacing the entire thing up to the ball valve which is 1.5. What would you recommend me to do? Thanks Jason.

Well I began this project the other evening. I have to cut about 25' strip of our patio, still need to cut out a square near the skimmer and dig down to the bottom of the skimmer. My body is killing me so far.... I'll try to post pics of this project.

Hello everyone. I have a problem... Seems I have an obstruction in my skimmer line. It doesn't suck like it should. I've tried blowing air to the skimmer trying to dislodge whatever is in the pipe, tried a fish tape. I am able to run the tape from the pump backwards however it's not long enough...
