Pea gravel decking already cracking on 4 month old pool!!! Is this normal?!?!

I need to take a picture but in the meantime, I have a question....is pea gravel decking supposed to already be cracking? We have 4 separate places where there are at least 12-18 inch hairline cracks in the pea gravel. Can this possibly be normal on a not even 4 month old pool?! I haven't...

    Officially started! (w/pics)

So, after an excruciating 1 month delay because of a gas line (main) out of easement, we are finally officially underway with our build! The dig started (and will I think be completed) today! Here was the original drawing: We have made the sun bench smaller, based in feedback I read here...

Just trying to get a ball park before calling my PB, but really considering (yet another) upgrade as I do not want slippery decking!

After reading so many places online, I'm just really afraid it's going to be slippery, and I really don't want that. I'll have a baby and 7 yr old with me out there, plus lots...

We just signed our contract...dig starts next week!

So excited! After months of weighing all options and interviewing & getting quotes from 4 PBs, we signed our contract & paid our deposit on our pool! The dig will start next week! We settled on a 18x38' freeform pool w/oversized spa. Perimeter 103, area 520. It will be 6 ft at the deepest...

New build in Clear Lake--help w/Wet Edge

We are *this close* to pulling the trigger on a pool build but our final 2 decisions are the following: - Wet Edge: should we do it all in satin matrix OR do the pool in Satin matrix and the spa in Primera? My husband thinks it will be a lot more comfortable to sit on the Primera. - Do we do a...
