Replacing Jacuzzi Coloured LED on J 345

I found it, it was at hot tub works.com I got them from. They have two different sizes. Mine is the smaller one. Your's may be the bigger one. Most spas use the same type of light I believe. Let me know what you find and how it works out for you.

Replacing Jacuzzi Coloured LED on J 345

My Marquis has an easy access panel where all the equipment is located. For access to the waterfall light I had to remove the exterior shell on that side but mine is attached with clearly visible screws. The bulb just pulls out of the housing. The housing in mine unscrews from the fixture. It...

gap between coping and tiles. coping cracks

Hi Nikon, I am not as experienced as other people here. I can only tell you what I've done and how it's working out. I googled under water adhesives and found several products that have video on how to use on you tube. That gave me ideas on how to fix my problems. Home depot sells a pool patch...

I'm so ready to fill in the pool

Apparently my post was delayed, or everything that had been posted wasn't showing on my screen. When I typed that they had no test kit and no numbers. I wasn't referring to Richard's post when I said forget the bleach.

    scaling and stains

I am so grateful for everything I've learned from you fabulous folks here at TFP. My next project after regrouting and sealing my cracks between the pool wall and coping is to try to get these black stains out. My hope is to have my pool looking good (even though it needs a resurface) by my...

I'm so ready to fill in the pool

I agree forget the bleach until you have a test kit. I learned the hard way, PH balance FIRST!!!!!! And know your CYA level. I wouldn't think it would be high but if it is bleach is a waste. If your PH isn't right you use more bleach and with high chlorine levels a ph test isn't accurate so get...

dirt on the bottom of the pool

I found the screen filter for my air relief tube at Poolpartsonline. Mine is a Pentair but I am assuming they really aren't all that necessary because I bought my house in October 2013 and just 2 weeks ago ordered that thing and put it on and my filter was working fine without it and I notice no...

gap between coping and tiles. coping cracks

Ii have this same issue and the same type of coping........but I live in Central Florida so it's pretty unlikely freeze and thaw is my issue. I am in the process of acid washing and wire brush scrubbing my tile to do a re-grout for now and am going to attempt cramming grout in the separation...

    black spots in pool

Do you have a weir door on your skimmer? That can also have a big change on the skimming effectiveness. Replaced weir door on skimmer, found that the module was not in the canister for the pop ups, bought that and now the in floor sweeper works much better. I still don't have it all figured...

    first hot tub

Once its connected to power, still in the wiring process, I'll know because it says it glows green if it's functioning. I haven't decided if I want to fix it if it isn't. I've read on here that they consume your chlorine and I have decided I'm switching from the spa frog cartridges to chlorine...

I have no idea. The spa is a 2005 model as mentioned above and it either was well taken care of or not used much.

    first hot tub

OK so I got a barely used 2005 Marquis Destiny spa. It has an ozonator and uses spa frog bromine and mineral cartridges. Can I switch to chlorine? Since I don't mind the smell of chlorine I personally don't think bromine smells less it's just different. Question 2 How do I clean the plumbing...

    darn algae

Since I cannot afford to outsource to a "professional" and my husband worked as an electrician the question is how do they come out. There are two little slots but putting a screw driver in them and trying to twist it out did not work what else might he try?

I have figured out why my pool lights don't work. There is some sort of gap that has developed allowing water into the niche which has caused a nasty rust stain beneath it and trips the breaker so no one gets electrocuted. I have two. Only one has been compromised but I can't seem to get it out...

I didn't mean exploded like a gas tank and caught fire. Somehow the jug burst open on the bottom and leaked all over the floor beside his tool chest.

Need some advice for using Muriatic Acid

If you have tools in your garage I WOULD NOT store MA in the garage. I had a jug of MA in the garage at our old house, before I had a pool. I used it in my cleaning business for cleaning severely neglected bathrooms. I don't know how or why but it exploded, now all of my husbands tools are...

    How much for monthly service?

WOW. The pool hut (Independently owned small business) around the corner from me only charges 70 a month. I do my own even though I knew nothing when I bought my house with pool in October. I am learning from the great folks here at TFP. Brushing and vacuuming is the hardest and most time...

Thanks so much for that info on cart filters. That is a HUGE help all by itself. I thought I was nuts or something was terribly wrong. Tomorrow I work half a day so I will brush & vacuum when I get home. Then I will clean the filter and continue doing so every 2-3 hours until I run out of...

The pressure doesn't rise. I got a new gage and still it doesn't change. That's another puzzle I have to figure out. And I just had to shut my pump off because its sounding different and seems to be quite warm. Its been running for almost 48 hours now and I know it has to run 24 hours a day...

I just started last night because my filter was green yesterday when I went to wash it. I didn't fix the ph first because I had no MA and the pool store had already closed. I wanted to get started on knocking out the algae. Each day the pool gets a few degrees warmer and the sun beats on it...

    black spots in pool

I have the pop up In floor sweeper system and I have an orbit (similar to a kreepy krawler) but I don't use the orbit as it doesn't seem very effective and it would be left in the pool for days at a time because of my work schedule. The pop up in floor isn't very effective as far as I can tell...
