when i get ready to replace the pump, what position on the multi port should i put it to, the "off" position or the "closed"? i know how to close the water coming into the pump.

Does the dot have to actually disappear completely? I am unsure of my reading because I can see the dot when the tube is filled to the top, but it is cloudy looking.

These are my today numbers with my Taylor K2006 kit, TC 7, PH 7.6, TA 80, CYA 40, CH 80 Water is clear today.

I dont have a cut off for water coming from the jets, but I do have a cut off from the skimmer.
