The laterals seem fine. I will be putting the water and sand in tonight so any info on start up with the valve positions and procedure would be appreciated,
Thanks.
Thanks,
I had started an earlier topic about my equipment in general and I am still trying to figure what the different filter multiport valves are for. The only valve setting that seems straightforward is the 'filter' valve, which must direct the water through the actual sand filter. So...
This is probably a simple question but I am still learning... I thought it was going to be easy getting sand for our filter but none nearby so I need to wait. Unfortunately I have the pool filled below the skimmer and would like to start circulating and adding chlorine. Can I just hook up...
Thanks,
Then hook up, set to 'backflush', turn on pump, let run, shut off pump, then put to 'filter', then turn pump back on? Again, no relieve valve noticeable. There is a drain plug on the bottom but that must be for winterizing I assume.
Thanks,
Do I then fill it with water, put the multiport top on and put it on circulate? The directions on the side of the cylinder make reference to a relief valve but I don't see one on it.
Also, do the written in multivalve locations seem correct? which one would it be on initially?
It seems to be the copper canyon. The online directions were a huge help but digging those footings were a nightmare due to rocks in ground. I have it completed but have to wait until I get advice on how to set up the sand filter.
and how do I set the filter up? Put sand and water in, cover it and then hook up to system with pump. I am not sure of the purpose of all the valve locations. Which one do I at least start it in? This is our first pool so are learning everything from scratch.
Also, is the pump a type that...
I purchased a used pool and equipment. Unfortunately there are no manuals with anything and I am trying to learn as much as I can about install and use. Thanks to this forum I found out I have a Raypak/Rudd 266 BTU gas heater. I have taken pictures of the pump (splapool 72729, 8 amp,1 SPL...
Thanks for the link. My memory card had a couple pixs but it is not being recognized. I took a couple pics of the main components below.
The top rail is about 6 3/8" wide; of course the link makes reference to either 6 or 6 1/2. The top cap is a 2-piece cap and they are all metal components...
We purchased a used 18X34X4' doughboy oval pool with no specific installation instructions/manual included. I don't even know specific model. However, we watched a couple videos and dismantled it ourselves so want to try doing it ourselves (especially after contacting the local pool store who...
The only info I received from prior owner was that it worked (too good) about 4 years ago but he stopped using it because of the cost to operate. I got the cover off and it actually had a Raypak sticker and it looks like it is the 266 with the millivolt power so no additional electrical...
Thanks, I am hopefully loading a couple pics with this.
this is used equipment and we have no manuals. Therefore any info on proper use and installation would be helpful. We are starting from scratch with the pool and this heater. All I know is that there was only a gas line run to...
I purchased a used pool that came with a gas heater. It is a large ruud unit approximately 6 years old that used only a gas connection. There is an on/off switch and temperature dial near the top of the unit. I went to the ruud website and they only have current models shown.
Should there be...
