Dolphin Pool Cleaners - what do you have for your pool?

I don't know if they still carry it, but I bought a Nautilus Plus 2 years ago and love it. Very well designed and manufactured. No caddy. The only thing I may use occasionally that it doesn't have is a remote.

Raypak Standard vs Hayward Heat Pro heat pumps

Hello all, We are looking to extend our swim season a bit and it looks like the best option for us is a heat pump. I am wanting to get your feedback on these units or others for quality and also customer service. I also see at least Raypak requires licensed installers to not void the...

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

I store mine in a a detached garage for now. I'd like to buy or build a secure cabinet to store it in the pool area for the season, then store it in the attached garage in the off-season. I'm still very impressed with mine. I just put it in and let it do its thing. It seems to be very well...

Deciding on Robot for Vinyl - please help

If you haven't bought one yet, I will recommend the Nautilus Plus. I've had mine for about a month and it does a great job. The handle is needed, IMHO. Without it, you would need to both hands to get it out, and I don't see how you could do it without getting in the water. I have not had any...

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

Divin Dave convinced me the handle was needed and since I have it I see what he meant. Without the handle I believe I would have to get into the pool to get it out.

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

I've used it several times now and really like it. It seems to pick up everything. Id does climb the walls and tries to run along the waterline, but doesn't go far. It climbs the steps, but doesn't really clean them. I also ran it under the solar cover with no problems. I like the handle, the...

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

I pulled the trigger on the Nautilus Plus yesterday. Epic had it listed for $709. I saw it listed a couple other places for $699.99 and called them about matching the price. The nice lady came back and said they could sell it to me for $695, so I gave her my CC number and she got it on the way...

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

Thanks Rob. Would I have to go to the Z5 to get the dual brushes? Epic has the Nautilus Plus for $709 now. I really wasn't wanting to spend that much, but I like the newer model.

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

Re: Aout ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus The Dolphin Nautilus seems like the one I need. Of coarse if there's a better one for the money, I'd be interested. I'm not really concerned with the walls or the waterline, it's the bottom that gives me trouble.

What to do with old bleach bottles

I like that idea. I have a safety cover, but putting them around the edges may keep leaves and needles from blowing under the cover so much. Thanks.

First time pool owner, less than a month, Bunch of plumbing problems

I had the same problem with mine last year. I also had just bought the house and the pool was also dirty. I believe the main drain was clogged. It opened after a few days and the problem went away.

Sounds like a great price. I've been buying 12.5% from Menard's for $10/case of four and thought that was a very good price. Where are you getting it for $8?

Bluish green after doing everything here

I would encourage you to stay with the bleach and the shock process and don't put anything in it that will raise your cya further. We are in a simular situation as we just purchased a home with a pool and are newbies. If it's bluish green and cloudy you are making progress. Keep vacuuming to...
