    Can't clear my pool

    Topic split off from this thread. Moderator. I opened up to a slight film on the liner which i have scrubbed a lot off. I added one gallon of 12% shock and algecide(for the Aw) to the pool so far and have been running it for 2 days. Is there such a thing as too much shock? Everyone say shock...

    rain water and overflow

    This the first season with a pool so everything is new. For the past few days we have had short but massive heavy rains. I checked the pool today and the water must have raised it a good 2inches. The water is now over the skimmer. What do i do wish this extra water? I do not really have a drain...
