    variable speed pump ?

    wow- 9.902 per kWh! My rates are only 0.06 per kWh. thank god for cheap hydroelectric power and the salmon be dammed! I was considering putting in a timer on my pump for cost savings as I run my pump 24/7. (2 year newbie) . Pool always looks good. I will have to run the numbers to recoup the cost.

    thanks a bunch for the reply. My cover is opaque. My thermometer is in the back of our pool shed and it was too cold to search for. The water temp is only estimated by my hand to be in the mid 30s. I am jealous about the other posters who are in the 80s!! We thought we were in a heat wave today...
