Yes it is dippend behind the foam about 1/4" but only on the backbends. The tops were not firm against the wall. The pool store told me that the pressure of the water would push the foam against the wall but that didn't seem to happen in these spots.

I am back to losing about 4ppm overnight, but last night wasn't a really accurate test I didn't check it until about 8am this morning. Its worse now than before I replaced the sand. Until that point everything was going really well, now the progress has plateaued.

No I haven't backwashed. I am following the conversion directions. I am running fresh sand then I added the cya. I haven't needed to backwash pressure hasn't moved and the pool is crystal clear for over a week. Just waiting for the CC level to drop.

Thanks. I thought I was almosr done. I was holding fc over night and my cc was down to 1 before I changed out the sand. I did start getting lazy with adding the bleach ( 2-3) times a day. I will get back on top of it and see how it does. Thanks again
