Yes, there are 2 holes in the skimmer, but only one of them has suction.

Hey guys. Here's the deal...Our pool was a green, slimy mess. DH (dear hubby) drained it (he's very impatient), we replaced our two cartridge filter system with a DE filter...then our pump and motor bit the dust! That was 2 weeks ago! I didn't realize the pump and motor I ordered had to come...

I knew I would leave something out! :oops: The pool length is 30 ft. Also, DH replaced all the water in the pool when he installed the DE filter. That's "Iggy Iguana"! He shows up everywhere...he's kinda our outdoor "Elf On The Shelf" for our grandkids. :lol:

Okay, DH tried to get the pump off the motor but even with an impact drill he couldn't get the bolts loose. He said if he tried anything else he would probably just end up breaking the bolts, so he wants a new pump and motor. :roll: He also decided he wants to wire it in, so here are 2...

The old motor was wired in, but DH said he could run an electrical outlet down next to the motor if we go with a 115v.
