    intex ultra frame pool 18x52

Yes. It's fine as long as it's level. The corners won't expand, once filled the whole joint just "floats"

    Intex mounted skimmer basket

As promised (yes that's a tablet chlorinator in the corner, I'm using it to boost my cya)

Keep filling. The sides will straighten out. Mine did that too.

    Intex mounted skimmer basket

I'll probably switch to an in-wall skimmer next season but I'm using the Intex on my rectangular ultra-frame. The clamp you're supposed to use is terrible. I took part of the clamp intended for inflatables and went after it with a heat gun to reshape it. I attach it to the pool leg with Velcro...

    Low suction with vacuum

Not sure which pool you have but the intex plunger valve, new style, has a valve on top for bleeding air. It also has a sping loaded valve that allows air in if the inlet gets blocked. On my pool, I had to seal that valve to get my vacuum working properly. Keep in mind it's a safety feature so...

DIY solar cover hanger for intex

I'll try to get a couple pics when I get home tonight. I use the cover that came with my Intex 18x9 during the day. We live in an area that frequently gets dust storms this time of year so it helps keep the pool clean and works as a solar cover. I roll the cover up on a piece of PVC pipe. On one...

    Intex Sand Filter Timer

Correct, and the panel mounted GFCI performs the same as the hardwired outlet in a power-out condition.

    Intex Sand Filter Timer

Believe it or not, in most areas of the US, that behavior of the GFCI is per the electrical code. Non-hardwired GFCI devices must trip when power is interupted. I installed a GFCI outlet for our pool so I intend to remove the Intex one as well.

Intex Sand Filter Backwash / Drain Connection

Sorry, I don't have the part number. I bought it at the local Leslie Pool supply but it doesn't seem to be on their website. I use my vacuum hose when I backflush. No clamp, just a pressure fit.

Intex Sand Filter Backwash / Drain Connection

My local pool place had another adapter that fits several hose types, including a standard vacuum hose. It was about the same price as yours.
