I tested the clorine and i can still see the bottom of the pool too its just not light green if it is alge is it bad to swim in that?

looks like gark green but it wasnt like that till i put chlorine :/ guess no pool for me this summer! lol

soo my clorine never went down its 5 10 ph is still 7.5 now my pool water is green.....

yea it doesnt say it on it but i read the bottle says its not for disinfection or sanitization so its not up to par lol. I just mean im going to put the granules in one day ca i use the bleach the next day to raise FC or just stick to one or the other

where would it say 8.25% on bottle? and if i cant find it i will just use the granules. and are the bleach and granules interchangeable?

ok no tablets or granules, just bleach to keep FC to right ppm

Also i have Clorox concentrated or bleach fresh scent. can i use that. does the bleach do the same thing to water? cuz if that is the cheaper way i will do it that way. :) I was going to 4ppm is the recommended one 5ppm?

and by target you mean i cant just throw a chlorine tab in there and know that the levels will be ok. I have to test everyday?

got 3.9 oz on the second line where it says or add 4.2oz by weight or 3.9oz by volume of cal-hypo 48% which is what i have the chlorine granules and or 1" tablets i cant use those?

yea im going too. pool calc says to add 3.9 oz but i was wondering if i can use the 1" chlorine tablets to do this

soo just got around to doing the test with the 6way water testing kit from walmart i only did CYA which is 40 Chlorine which is 0 or close to it ph is 7.5

so 13oz of CYA and 1.8oz of FC to get it to 2ppm. so should the CYA just be spread in the pool or still put in the sock?

CYA is granules all the stuff i have is granules. so put the FC in (3.7oz) then how much CYA in a sock?

hehe :) yes that method sounds good since its a pop up pool. can you put the cya and the fc in at the same time? bottles say not too. also the fc (shock and swim) says to do the PH stuff first. I would like to have something in the pool tonight to get it started then tomorrow run out get the...
