Anyone ever heard of using iodine instead of chlorine? Safety of iodine as a disinfectant in swimming pools (I wasn't sure where this question should be posted, so please move if it is in the wrong place. Thanks!)

The ladder that came with our Intex UF is wobbly and really narrow.. we really like the in-pool 24" resin ladder my old neighbors had going to the deck on their AGP, but I haven't been able to find anything besides 16" or 18" a-frame ladders (we don't have a deck). Thanks for any information!

I used my manual vacuum today and it worked fine.. the only problem I have with it is adding new water messes with the chemicals and wastes water (have to drain it out). So, I want to know if anyone has tried rigging up a connection to the pump outlet to push water through the manual vacuum...
