    Retrofit Sleeves for Volleyball Net

Thank you. Thus far i haven't had anyone willing to do it due to it being a small job. I may just go with the handyman (thank you for the suggestion as i didn't think about that).

    Retrofit Sleeves for Volleyball Net

Any idea of the ease of drilling holes for volleyball pole inserts? I have washed/exposed aggregate decking. The deck is about 3 years old. Is this a DIY project or better left to the pros?

    New deck heaving

Heaved portion of deck being torn up now. Never settled back down. Deck guy says he is going to compact the fill as best he can and that might keep it from heaving again. Also might tie it into my existing concrete patio. Thoughts/suggestions on other things to do prior to pour? Saturate...

    Greenish tint

My water was perfect but I noticed my cartridge filter pressure was high so I needed to clean the filters. They were filthy. So bad I was surprised my water was clear. I cleaned them and one day later my water had a dusty look and green tint. Several days later still Greenish. I keep my...

    New deck heaving

    New deck heaving

Have new mastic going down but deck heave has worsened (grown to 18ft in length). Still working with PB who says its just ground swell and nothing they did wrong. No leaks via bucket tests. While I agree our ground swells its now begun its shrinking as I notice my front walk now going down...

    New deck heaving

More heave with wet and cold weather. PB, concrete contractor, sales guy, all say nothing to be done and is to be expected. Frustrating but my only hope is that it settles over the summer.

    North Texas landscaping ideas needed

We almost talked ourselves out of a tropical/palm theme around our new pool but a long wknd in Cancun just spoiled that. I now know we will be tropical in McKinney. THanks for the info on Dallas Palms. I am going to check them out.

    New deck heaving

All dirt was already removed. i only saw sand and then rebar. Not sure what they did prior to that. Deck guy came out. Claims the heave is normal. Agrees that the mastic needs to be fixed or it will just get worse as water/moisture continues to go down under the concrete. Claims the...

    New deck heaving

Thanks everyone. The PB and deck guys are coming back out. I also can now see a very long (but small) crack in the aggregate. There is obviously a problem. We have had some abnormally cold temps here. My poor pool equip is working OT.

    New deck heaving

They used sand to fill. Another thing is that it started prior to any low temps. Sounds like I need to get them back out here ASAP.

    New deck heaving

Hi, My 4 month old decking is already heaving in a large area and is heaving around the coping. It is pulling the mastic away and seems to be getting worse. It is upwards of 1 in now (see pic). Pool guy says this isnt "normal" but should resolve it self by Summer. I am not so sure. Does...

    Savi lights on Iaqualink

Hi, does anyone know how to get my iaqualink setup to control savi? The only choices on my iaqualink are jandy, pent air, and Hayward. Lights work fine but I can't really control the color since I control my savi led color lights using the jandy led colors.

    Water in the new pool

Hi, We will begin filling our new pool in a few days and i was wondering if you had any advice on questions that i need to ask my PB tomorrow and Friday. I have never owned a pool so every question has the possibility to be a dumb question :)

    Getting fence to code

Mckinney code. Decided to just tear down all the panels and reverse them so that the horizontal members and posts are on my side. A bit labor intensive but it meets code and i dont have to go buy any 2x4s. Plus beating things with a mallet is kinda sweet. Nice way to end the week.

    Getting fence to code

Hi, We need to get our fence up to code because the horizontal members and posts face out, ie on neighbors side of the fence. We are eventually getting a New fence and will turn the posts to be on our side but that is a 4 weeks away and pool build should be finished in a few days. I can...
