Thanks, all. Found the union on suction side was a bit loose. Tightened it up and all is well!

Sorry, suction side.

Pump is primed and running well, but basket contains a lot of bubbles. I'm going to do some air leak tests tomorrow and change out the o-ring on the union ahead of the pump to see if that resolves things.

Forgot to mention - pool water level is correct and I replaced the o-ring on the pump basket cover.

Hi - not at the moment, unfortunately. The lighting is definitely sufficient, but if I were to do it again, I’d put a microbrite light on the shelf that could be controlled independently. Yes, we did and are glad. It looks great and we get a lot of compliments.

Now would be the time to make those requests while everything is open and easy to access.

Pool fill complete! Took about 19 hours total with two hoses running. Immediate color looks good, curious to see if it changes much over the next few weeks. Meeting with start up guy this week to get some lessons and continue the brushing process a few times a day.

We’ve got plaster! The crew showed up yesterday early to apply Pebble Sheen Blue Granite. They are back today to acid wash and clean up tile. More pics to come today after acid wash, but here’s a few from yesterday.

We were quoted a $1,200 difference between Pebble Sheen Blue Granite and Ocean Blue. $7k is outrageous. Call the installer and tell them you’re doing an owner-builder pool and they’ll give you pricing for each. Gives you some ammo to go back to PB with and negotiate a reasonable price.
