Thank you for that. I removed the stairs and cleaned them by hand with a diluted chlorine solution but there are so many crevices It is hard to imagine I was able to get every bit of it. I do have some small creases in my liner but I feel like I am pretty good at scrubbing those.

Hi Marty and thank you for the response. I can't believe I missed the algae clouds in my rush to get to mustard SLAM. At this point will I need to restart the initial SLAM process or is there a way to defeat the MA with these high chlorine levels?

Good to know. I think all the dead algae is what had us tripped up because we kept thinking it was live algae and most likely that was mustard algae to boot. The pool looks great today so hopefully with more careful monitoring it’ll stay that way. We’ll be draining and refilling later next month...

I don't. It is hard to capture the subtleness of the pink enough to highlight it. It is most noticeable when viewed from the top but it isn't there when FC is under 17ppm.

I forgot to add that I had initially brought my PH down with MA to 7.2 before attempting the SLAM but it has since crawled back up with having higher FC levels.
