Another Update: Got new pump installed today and . . . No power to the pump. Circuit breaker is not tripped. Going to take apart the timer area tomorrow and maybe it’s not lettering power get to the pump. The pump was so hot I just assumed it burnt up and didn’tEven check the power. LOL

Well, unfortunately, it is not the capacitor.

So I used multimeter on ohms to test capacitor and it read up to 1.8 on the 2m setting. Gradually increased. Now I’m just trying to see what would be the normal range.

Would that still be a potential problem even if the motor is no longer humming at all and nothing happens.
