Replaced pump but no power on 20amp breaker now?

Correct, once we replaced it with a new and had the same issue I ruled out the breaker being the issue so I put the old one back in. Gfci would not solve the issue. Just trying to understand what have happened. Pump/timer works. Pump goes out and replace the motor with same exact motor and...

Replaced pump but no power on 20amp breaker now?

Installed new pump. Old pump was connected to timer on 20 amp breaker. Now I go to connect to timer on 20 amp breaker and I get nothing, no power. Tried to hypass timer and connect to 20 amp breaker to rule out the timer but still nothing. Replaced breaker, itnis NOT the breaker. However, if I...

Replacement-How do I know which pump to get?

So I used multimeter on ohms to test capacitor and it read up to 1.8 on the 2m setting. Gradually increased. Now I’m just trying to see what would be the normal range.

Replacement-How do I know which pump to get?

Would that still be a potential problem even if the motor is no longer humming at all and nothing happens.

    CYA Is Disappearing

At the end of last season CYA was 90. I just bought my reagent kit last summer. I then tested for CYA in April to know where my chlorine needed to be and it was 50. I tested that multiple times because I was shocked it was so much lower. Now today I tested CYA again and at the 30 CYA mark I...

    CYA Is Disappearing

Location: Las Vegas SO last year I discovered TFP. Had CYA at 90 and struggled with algae which was a pain because of all the chlorine I had to go through. I’ll admit over winter I didn’t really do anything…😬. Once it started warming up I tested the pool and my CYA was at 50. When I “opened” the...

I am just over a week in of caring for the pool. It has “staining” on the calmer end that comes and goes throughout the day. By end of day it spreads across the bottom of the pool, by morning it is only on the edge. Water has been clear. It does. It come off with the brush but we could scrub it...
