DIY Troubleshooting Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus

I know this is over 4 years old but my cc plus does the same thing. Its 4 years old. I replaced the power cord at 2 years. I checked that and its fine. Getting good voltage at the motor. Which motor did you have to replace?

Weird. Mine also toggles off but the map still shows. My z1 pro is very good about going around the main drains. There are definitely some bugs to work out which I've been talking to them about. All my issues are software related so hoping updates fix them.

It randomly stops on 1 section of my pool and I have to fet it with the hook and move it. It also was set on walls only today and started doing the floor. Then started spinning in place for 2 minutes before I grabbed it. I think theres some software bugs they need to figure out

Ran my z1 pro yesterday and thought it was doing good until I checked my pool. As you can see it doesnt clean everywhere. It left a few streaks of silt on the bottom and then this large patch. It must not have even ran this section over once.

Hope so. Only real drawback ive noticed so far is when doing floor only it stays about 8 inches off the wall the whole time so it doesnt get things where the wall and floor meet. When i do a standard clean (floor, wall, waterline) it gets the edges and corners. Since my pool is only 6 feet deep...

I just started using mine today and so far its been great. Mapped the pool No problem. Didn't get stuck in my main drains at all which my Nautulus CC plus always did. Also didn't get stuck on my buddy seats which my old robot did too.

Love that 1st clean after winter.

Have to love clean straight lines with a vacuum after opening. This was the cleanest my pool has ever been opening it after winter. No green algea l, just dirt and sand and some leaves and worms

    Another frog cycler question

Last year I stopped using my frog system and went to liquid chlorine only. Pool looked great, and just opened it and there was no algea in it. For those who went from a frog to liquid, did you leave the frog cycler in or remove it and add a straight piece of PVC. I just noticed a small drip...

    Thin green algea problem.

Yes i was keeping it between 20 and 25 adding chlorine 3 times a day to do so. I say 5 times in a month but it's more like a month and a half. I would meet all 3 criteria then a few days later I would sweep and see algae so i would start the process all over. Here's a Pic of the algae i would...

    Thin green algea problem.

I've been dealing with an algae problem for a while now. Everyday I go out and have to brush the pool and poofs of green come up. My numbers are PH: 7.8 FC: 8 CC: 0 CYA: 60 ALK: 90 CH: 200 I've done about 5 SLAMS the last month or so and have been checking my overnight chlorine loss and every...

    Thin green algea problem.

That's true I do have visible algae. Figured 1 slam would be enough with 0 FC loss overnight and 0 combined chlorine

    Thin green algea problem.

Yeah 0 Chlorine loss overnight. Not sure about the brushing because I didn't think I'd need to right after a SLAM but that was 3 days ago and I've had to brush the last 2 days to get it up. I have a sand filter and the sand is 4 years old, Any chance it could be shooting it back into the pool...

Hey guys, Not so new to pools but have had an issue the past 2 weeks and can't figure it out Every day I have to sweep the bottom of the pool to get a thin layer of algea up. I've never had this problem before and I've certainly never had to sweep it every day. 35k gallon chlorine pool No...

Dont go on vacation if you have a pool

Dont go on vacation if you have a pool

The pool came with the frog system. I haven't used it at all this year. Just do the liquid chlorine daily to keep it at the right number depending on my CYA. I was only using it to add chlorine on the days I wasnt going to be here and I don't use the frog pods, I use 1" trichlor tabs. I just...

Dont go on vacation if you have a pool

Went on vacation for 5 days. It was in the 90s here in NY and came home to algea starting. Since I wouldn't be home to add loquid chlorine everyday, I filled up a frog pod with regular 1" tabs and put it on the highest setting. This method the chlorine went from day1 2.9ppm Day2 2.4ppm Day3 1...

    Low CYA

Thanks. Yeah I've noticed the water guru to be somewhat accurate. Not accurate like a test kit, but I can tell if there's a safe amount of chlorine for swimming if I'm not home and also water temp and flow. It actually saved me one day since I saw I had no flow and never would have noticed...
