It is capable of adding an automation system to it, but I am just running it by programing the timer settings I want on the pump itself. You can set the time of day and when/how long/rpm to 7 different programs which is sufficient for what I need to do with it. I do like having the flexibility...

Just as an update - I ended up cancelling my order for the Calimar and got a Waterway Power Defender VS Pump (PD-140) from here. At the end of the day it was easier and probably a little cheaper to keep everything on 115V since I had a 1HP Hayward pump wired for that. I got the new pump up and...

I ordered one of these three weeks ago and when I ordered it was told about two weeks. I followed up with them today and was told at least another month. So I think they have no idea.
