Anybody use plain silicone to fix a small leak in bottom of a pool? There is a small gap between the plaster ring and the drain body that is letting water drain between the two, Small slow leak. Just wondering if a bead of silicone will do the trick, im pretty sure it will work but for how long?

Neighbor has a custom hot tub and has had problems keeping the water nice. I finaly helped him to get it cleared up with some good shocking and Ph control. He called me a couple days ago and said the Ph was down a little bit, and I said that was normal when you use trichlor tabs in a floater...

anybody ever try installing a inline chlorinator with trichlor pucks into their hot tub. Just wondering if you kept in on the lowest setting to satisfy chlorine demand, and keeping an eye on CYA, would it prove to be a useful install. And of course watching the PH.

Has anybody hired a leak detection company to find a leak underground? How accurate where they. We have a leak in a spa line under a concrete slab.
