Yeah, I do know that. It also really helps it stay cool. It’s been so blazing hot here and everyone’s pools are like bath water. Not very refreshing. We lost a lot of our shade in the ice storm last February so my pool is warmer than it used to be.

I added CDX several weeks ago. Not sure exactly when. I flocced it and vacuumed to waste to get the algae out. I vacuumed to waste twice so changed out some water both times. Total amount approx 25% tops. Was trying to avoid draining the pool.

I bought the kit online and the dates on the bottles are June/24 so should be ok. I have been putting in chlorine for a couple of days so some is there but it’s not as much as I will need to convert. Now that I can test I can try to really keep the levels up. Thanks!
