Thinking about putting the old rat kit mesh on this heater. Ammonia has kept them off my window sills. Wonder if pouring it around the heater will keep them away.

Checked and the supply is only 120V. Is there anything else that should be changed other than taking out the 240V plug and installing the 120V plug?

Thanks, James. I should be able to figure out what the supply is. The breaker box is outside near the heater. There are two single breakers side by side, but the heater may only be on one. The other may be pool lights. It may be that only one breaker supplies the heater, which makes me think it...

This heater is brand new, so I would hope all parts work the way they should, but I will try the things you suggest.

The blower is on, the red Heating LED blinks on and off, the LCD screen shows SPA temp at 68 and set to 98. After about ten seconds, there is a click and the blower shuts off and the blinking red light shuts off. After about 20 seconds, the cycle starts again - blower, flashing red light, etc...

It is natural gas. The gas valve toggle is on. Do I have to remove and then replace a plug from the valve to allow it to fill with gas?
