    Water aeration mechanism

Yes, I do have a variable speed pump. I have 6 return jets in total split between 3 return lines. All the jets have to be manually closed/opened. I’m guessing that the PVC aerator isn’t getting enough water pressure when it has to share with the other return jets? But it also seems like a huge...

    Water aeration mechanism

Hi there! I live in central Texas, and it’s crazy hot. The water temp on my 7k-gallon pool is currently 96 degrees, and I’d like to utilize aeration overnight to cool the water. I bought a PVC waterfall/aeration setup on Amazon: Amazon.com I hooked it up to my return jet per instructions, and...

Seeking advice for removing stain from coping stone

Gotcha! Thanks, I’m going to try it! Hopefully this is indeed rust so that vitamin C will resolve it.

Seeking advice for removing stain from coping stone

I’ll give it a try! Are you referring to something like chewable vitamin C tablets I can get at a pharmacy? Or any specific product/brand?

Seeking advice for removing stain from coping stone

About a month ago, we noticed splotchy orange stains on our new pool’s lueder coping stone. The only thing I can think of that could have caused it was my husband often leaving pool cleaning tools (a long aluminum pole, nylon bristle brush, and net w/ plastic hoop) on the stones, and a tool...

Shoot! Well, the 2005 I ordered cost $70, so I guess I should use it up. I'll look into the FAS-DPD add-on.

Something is staining my pool, and I don't know what.

I don't have any pool chemicals currently. I was planning on stocking up on recommended products when the contractor finishes their work and closes out the project. I can get some pH Down and try it. If the stain isn't resolved by the pH Down, could it make the staining worse?

Something is staining my pool, and I don't know what.

I just used my Taylor 2005 test kit, and results are below. I'm not super confident -- the results seem to be up to how an individual thinks about colors. I had run the filter yesterday evening, so perhaps that's another reason the test kit results now differ from Leslie's this past weekend...

Something is staining my pool, and I don't know what.

Something has been staining my tile grout and cover a greenish color over the past few weeks (see photos), and I can't figure out what the issue is. I'm hoping someone here is more knowledgeable than me and may be able to help. My ~6K-gallon pool is technically still under construction in...
