Thanks for the info. Any way that can be remedied if we are able to find hole in liner/leak in seam and patch it? Also, is it usually the ground water that is responsible for this? Our pool was built on a slope (not extreme).

Not sure about the sand cove. It was professionally installed, so not sure if that was something that is usually done. I tried to take a pic, but not sure how well it interprets. I would say some of the bulges go out about 4”.

Yes. The seam. pretty much goes around the bottom rim of the pool. When I press on the bulging areas it feels solid and the "valleys" in between the bulging area is softer, but I don't think it is water under the pool because it's not squishy.
