    What a difference

Woohoo! I'm out of SLAM and the wife and grandkids are enjoying the pool as I type this. Now I just need to fine tune the levels.

    What a difference

Oh I plan on it. That was part of my reason for sharing the pics. For anyone that is new here and trying to decide whether to follow the SLAM process or not, I can tell you that it works and really isn't all that difficult. I must admit that I did have a bit of sticker shock when I went to buy...

    What a difference

Hello all, So glad I found this site. I'm less than 72 hours in on my SLAM and boy what a difference. The two pics below show what my pool looked like on Monday and what it looks like today (Thursday). I started SLAMming Monday night and hopefully my OCLT will come back good tomorrow and I can...

Oh the hilarity of it all...

So, I'm currently SLAMming my new pool and after brushing the sides I decided to give the vacuum a try. Now, before I go any further, I have a robot cleaner that I normally use but from what I have been reading it seems that the vacuum that actually goes through my pump and out to waste would be...

    Hi guys and gals

Thanks for the info. I had already started reading a lot of the articles on this site last night. As expected, the chlorine was gone this morning when I tested it. I added another gallon to the pool. I know it's best to add it at night, which I will more than likely do again tonight, but I...

    Hi guys and gals

I came across this site while trying to figure out how to clear up my pool water. I just had an AG pool installed last month and the water is always kind of cloudy. Not overly so, but definitely not the crystal clear that I was expecting. I have had a little Intex 12' x 30" pool with cartridge...
