I had to completely drain my pool for a leak repair. The leak has been fixed and I'm filling the pool now. Does the order that I add needed chemicals matter? Can I add them all at once? For example, can I add CYA, chlorine, and acid (if needed) at the same time? I have a Taylor test kit...

Is it plastic? If so, use a lighter or torch to heat up the end of a screwdriver until it's red hot. Then push it into the broken plug until it sinks in a bit. Hold it there for a little while, then slowly unscrew the broken plug.

So is it agreed that I don't need to worry too much about replacing my old pump with another 2hp pump?

I'm happy with it other than the noise. It still works, but it's incredibly loud. We don't use it much because of the noise.

I don't know how much flow I need. They are basically 2" PVC piped into a rock "wall". The wall has 3 small reservoirs where the pipe exits, the reservoirs fill up and overflow down the rocks into the pool. All pipe is 2" TY!

Hi All, I have an old 2hp single speed pump that is only used for the waterfall features in my pool. The pump is very loud and I would like to replace it. Do I need to replace it with another 2hp pump? Is there a way I can determine what pump I should use? Thanks!
