Posted in another thread that my impeller broke on my Century Centurion pump. I was able to successfully replace with a used spare part from a friend that seemingly fit well and looked like the original. After that, I re-attached the pump to the impeller housing, lubed everything with Magic...

My pump stopped creating flow, so I removed the casing and found that the impeller had come apart. The outer body of the impeller piece sheared away from the shaft collar that connects to the pump shaft. I have been able to grab the shaft on the opposite end and attempt to unscrew the broken...

On the calcium addition - I have seen that some types of deicer can be used to add calcium chloride. However, some of those products have little to no calcium chloride. I would not want to add too many extra unknown chemicals to my pool water I am assuming, so can you suggest a good brand to use...

I just installed a SWG about 2 months ago and I'm still getting used to the variations in chemistry balance. My numbers look generally in range, but the final CSI result is strongly negative (about -0.66 this last week). That seems bad to me. How bad is that? Tested just now: FC = 6.5 pH = 7.5...
