CaliMar VS Pump Issue - Freeze Protection

I ran through the instructions on the B+D pump, but applied to my Calimar-branded pump. The freeze settings appeared to adjust and everything seemed to work exactly as described by B+D while I was in settings mode. However, upon saving the settings, the Calimar pump seems to completely error...

Low/No Pump Pressure After Replacing Impeller

Yes, these valves are at least 11 years old, installed when I bought the house. The valve in the photo never had the cup attached, so I never even knew it was a potential opening. Anyway, pump has been shut down for about 2 weeks now from these issues and pool has become a new thriving...

Low/No Pump Pressure After Replacing Impeller

Posted in another thread that my impeller broke on my Century Centurion pump. I was able to successfully replace with a used spare part from a friend that seemingly fit well and looked like the original. After that, I re-attached the pump to the impeller housing, lubed everything with Magic...

Best Option to get my CSI Back Under Control

On the calcium addition - I have seen that some types of deicer can be used to add calcium chloride. However, some of those products have little to no calcium chloride. I would not want to add too many extra unknown chemicals to my pool water I am assuming, so can you suggest a good brand to use...

Best Option to get my CSI Back Under Control

I just installed a SWG about 2 months ago and I'm still getting used to the variations in chemistry balance. My numbers look generally in range, but the final CSI result is strongly negative (about -0.66 this last week). That seems bad to me. How bad is that? Tested just now: FC = 6.5 pH = 7.5...
