ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

Flipped back again and it’s working… for the moment. We’ll see if Pentair will come out and take a look - I suspect the board is bad and it’ll “break” again in a few days. But for now, we’re up and running. NOBODY TOUCH ANYTHING! 😂

ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

Any ideas on why swapping has it back working (on both sensors)?

Thanks! Yes, exactly. Cannot get heat :)

ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

I’m just totally befuddled by this. I swapped the wires at the board again (so air sensor is plugged in to water at board, and Vice-versa). Unplugged main power connector behind board, and had breaker switch for board off. Reconnected main power connected. Flipped breaker on. Panel lit up, I...

Also, any chance anyone can help me track down the right replacement board? Looks very simple to replace myself if I can get the correct board.

ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

The new sensor worked for a few days - just had it out in the open air to make sure it was good before placing in the pipe. Today it failed and I can’t get it back. Swapped air and water sensors at the board connection and sensors seem fine (“air” gets a good reading from whichever sensor I...

ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

Got it, thanks all. I’ll try the replacement recommended and follow up if this doesn’t resolve it. Is it odd to see a sensor go bad reading low opposed to high?

ScreenLogic + Temp Probe Reading Low

First season pool, Pentair system and water temp sensor has been working fine for a while. Was on vacation and came back and sensor now reads really low. Like 28 degrees. Have calibrated it a bunch of times and it worked for a few hours last night into this morning - now it’s back to low again...

ScreenLogic: no spa, but spa keeps showing back up

Bummer. Seems odd that SLConfig has an option to hide it - and that it works temporarily, and just doesn’t stick.

ScreenLogic: no spa, but spa keeps showing back up

Yes it is, but only have a pool.

ScreenLogic: no spa, but spa keeps showing back up

Thank you! I haven’t heard anything or figured this out quite yet. I keep re-hiding it in the SLConfig app and it works for a bit then shows up again. What’s the definition of insanity again? 🤪

ScreenLogic: no spa, but spa keeps showing back up

Wasn’t sure where to put this or how to phrase it - this could also be why my search didn’t return any results 😂 I have an EZTouch panel driving a MasterTemp 400 used to heat a pool. No spa involved. I must have something set up incorrectly, because “Spa” keeps showing up in my ScreenLogic...

Thank you so much. I will get to work now. Not sure how to express my gratitude to you all but I’ve been overwhelmed with the kindness and helpfulness from all here. First time pool owner (I’m sure you guessed!) and between this thread and my initial thread on water chemistry I’ve been blown...

I’m sorry, my signature is incorrect. It’s an EasyTouch. That’s embarrassing and probably caused some wasted time on all of your ends. Sorry for the confusion I caused.

    EasyTouch and MasterTemp 400

My interpretation is I need to: 1. Remove the brown wire leads from the heater touch/control panel (front of unit) 2. Cut yellow jumper at back of unit control board for fireman’s switch 3. Use wire nuts to splice brown wire leads coming from EZT panel (from step 1) into yellow jumper ends of...

Almost forgot - here is the photo of the back control panel which does not appear to have been setup for the fireman’s switch, looks like the factory jumper is still there if I’m reading the manual and photos correctly.

Thank you both! I took off the front and back panels and was surprised at what I found, after looking at the manual sent by Jim and the additional photo/link from AJW (thank you both!). This is looking at the front of the unit, at a Circuit board that is on the back of the main touch...
