    Thanks for the reply! Test kit does have that so that’s great. Started slamming yesterday after checking pH and CYA levels. Already seeing a performance improvement within 24 hours but will continue to monitor and Slam till I’ve met all criteria :)

    Thanks Jim. That makes sense, I’ll crack on with balancing out the pool first and reassess. Thank you again for the swift reply and help. Just found this forum after a few years of pool ownership (pool already in new house) and still learning so much. Will definitely check out the school.

    Thanks for replying! I have a Hayward S180T sand filter. I do have a test kit but just got system running yesterday after having a pump replacement, so not tested yet, will do this afternoon. Knowing the pool is not balanced and still green tinged I’m guessing it is better to get parameters...
