Thanks for the info. I got a manual vacuum and hooked it up to the left port after filling the hose with water. Works great, just have to dump my cyclone a couple of times. So much better than trying to push all that down to the main drain and stirring up all the sediment in the process.

No I haven't, we've only had the pool for like 6 months now.

I have 3 Venturi skimmers, from ultra skim I believe. And my system uses a cartridge filter, a pentair system3 s8m600. Has one pump that's variable speed and there is a valve that changes from the main drain to "skimmer". When I change directions the flow of water to the skimmer increases...

We have one as well. It would be full by the end of the week with how windy is been the past couple weeks, like 20+mph, and our pool is surrounded by dirt. Have to brush every other day to move the dirt to the main drain, have in floor cleaners but still need to move the rest to the main drain...

Yeah we have an ozone green generator and a UV light. We told our pool guy we wanted to let our dogs swim in the pool and with them running around in the dirt and who knows what they have on their feet it'll clean the water a little better.

Still have a lot of work to do to get the pool area looking great. But here's a pic before slamming.

New pool built. Surrounded by dirt, so that's a constant issue. Slammed my pool last week to get the water more clear. Looks decent from the deep end to see clear across 60 feet to the shallow end.
