Can anyone advice which pool cleaner works best? Tried the aqua bug and got tired of babysitting it. Most of the time it ended up sideways. Any other cleaners that work better?

Since you have a sand filter, have you notice any fine dirt/sand collecting at the bottom of the pool by the seams?

I would use one with a pvc ball valve, this will allow to make it easier when you vacuum. You can open it after you're done vacuuming and shut off the skimmer. This will allow you to remove the equipment without getting out of the pool to turn off the filter pump.

No pool toys, No nasty neighbors..lol. A few times I had to clean the electrolytic plates with vinegar as it has white color stuff (calcium?) and gives me an error 91, As soon as I clean it the swg continues to work for a few weeks. Could it be that it's coming from that? What causes/prevent it?

So I vacuum and within a few days I get the same stuff. completed the overnight FC test and it passed. I'll get the new reading tonight but here are a few pictures to give you an idea of the stuff I collect when I vacuum.

take your time when mounting the skimmer and careful cutting the vinyl. I had minor leaks on each side of the gasket and had to use clear silicon which took care of it. At some point i'll put a new gasket (winter) and won't cut it this time.

Thank you. I will look into the Confer 7200 mainly for child safety, I have a 1yr old. I'm sure it's so much better than what intex provided as a ladder.

what kind of ladder is that and do you have any issues with it moving or is it stable?

This was when the first time I put the pool without leveling. what a mess. You can see how far it wasn't leveled.

that's another story. Landscaper scam me out of $5k and did a really bad job and all the plant died within weeks. It looks much better after I spent weeks cleaning up and fixing irrigation leaks. I have plans to redo it nicer next year when I save enough money.

Below is a pic of my setup. When i'm done vacuuming I can turn on the other intake and turn off the skimmer valve. This avoids getting out of the pool and allowing me to finish up. Once done I turn back on the skimmer.

I wouldn't use the grommets, I used it for my bottom floor tarp and after a while it rust and doesn't hold well. It might stretch the vinyl as well.

I switch to a intex 3000gph sand filter and I haven't looked back. The pump they include is under powered and I was tired of washing off the cartridge filter. When I vacuum it's perfect with no lost of pressure.

I never thought about that but yes someone you can trust lol, for sure not the wife just in case. :( I bought a cheap snorkel from biglots and ended up swallowing a lot of water. maybe i'll try something better from big 5 store.
