I have a brand new Pentair 400HD. The heater turns on and runs prefect. The water doesn’t warm much and the SFS only reaches 250*. I ran it for 20 minutes today and the SFS stalls there. What should I look for?

I am putting in a new pump that has a little different deminsions. The pump plumbing on the volute side has a t with a cap. Is it necessary? I need to shorten that section a few inches. It would be easier if it wasn’t there. I am not sure what its purpose is or if it even has a purpose.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Here are some pictures. The frame is bonded but the only thing going into the box is hydraulic lines.

I am replacing the roll tube and both cones on my Coverstar cover. The bonding wires that come from the cover and attach to the tube are broken in or near the cover. Are they necessary. My cover is hydraulic so there is no electricity there. Thanks, Tony

It was just like it is. I haven’t moved it. The heater would get the hot tub up to 104 for a couple of months after we moved in then it started shutting off at about 80. Hopefully this fixes it.

I plan on cleaning the inside of the heater fire area. It is pretty dirty. The rest of the heater looks really good. There is a bypass but it doesn't stop water from going into the heater.

I got it pressure washed. It looks a lot better already. Next i am going to acid or clr dip. I plan on getting two tubs. One with acid mixture and one with neutralizing mixture. Probably 15 minutes in each and repeat as needed.

I made it to the manifold. Time to try and clean it now.

I have not seen any leaks. I am going to pull the whole thing out today to look for sooting also. I just bought the house. They used a pool service. I am not impressed with them from what i have seen so far. I am going to do it myself and learn what i need from here. The inside of my salt cell...

I finally got in there. It looks like my coils are clogged up pretty good. Interestingly it is mostly only the one that is bad. Have you seen that before?
