First time filled up this summer, Had to use water well to fill up. Here are my water tests. FC-0 PH-7.2 TA-380 CH-220 CYA-less than 20 The only thing pool calc. tells me to add is 49 oz. acid and 1575 oz. vol. of baking soda. Why no bleach. I must be doing something wrong.

Here is what i tried so far Lime away, sos pads, kaboom. All worked about the same, not very well with a lot of elbow brease. Going to try a stronger solution of muratic tomorrow and elbow grease. Thanks for all comments.

It already has had an acid wash and scum has not come off. The paint has already been bought so it is getting painted.

Preparing pool for paint. will lime away work to remove scum from tile?
