The documentation that came with my pool says to not run the pump/filter while people are in the water. Does anyone know why? I keep forgetting to turn the pump off when my kids get in and I just want to make sure no damage is being caused. Thanks!

Thanks, I'll take a look at the useful Intex links. The DVD that came with our pool showed the vac that you are describing, but like I said before the actual one in the box was the waterhose kind. I was surprised by how much it picked up....of course the bottom of my pool was pretty dirty...
