@Newdude sorry to keep asking you questions! Now that I’ve opened the drains - the drains have caps. Do I keep them off? Do I need to wrorry about a critter finding their way in? Or once the water stops running, I can re-cap?

We have hoses. we have hard freezes, occasionally (not every year) & it’s a big deal/on the news when it’s coming. The pool store suggested keeping the pool running on low & only lowering the water & draining the pump/lines if the news was announcing a very cold weather.
