    Pool ladder anchor assembly -

Here you go. My thought is it it will still work regardless, but I was wondering if anyone had come across this before. We don't even really need the ladder, so I was debating on just not even trying to put it in this year.

    Pool ladder anchor assembly -

Question - The inner ring of my pool ladder anchor assembly broke and now the bolt/wedge portion is completely free of the assembly. Will the bolt/wedge still work to keep the ladder in place? Thank you, BH

    Blowing out pool lines -

That's an interesting thought, because it did seem no matter how low or high I set the output pressure, the tank pressure would not build at all - as if the tank was just exhausting the air without being able to build up any pressure.

    Blowing out pool lines -

No, in fact, I had just been using recirculate to mix in winter chemicals, so I know the MPV is functioning as it should.

    Blowing out pool lines -

I use an air compressor connected to the pump drain plug to blow out my pool lines. I have always blown out the lines with the multiport set to filter (after draining & cleaning my filter). This year I tried to blow out the lines with the multiport set to recirculate (before draining & cleaning...

Question for DE users....what do you do with the backwashed stuff?

Something doesn't sound right. I can go weeks without having to backwash, and when I do, there isn't so much residual that I can't just hose it right into the ground. You certainly shouldn't be in the position of having to have two filter grids swapping in and out!

    Pump shaft seal leak -

Thank you all for your help. I took the pump apart today and replaced the shaft seal, o-rings and gaskets. No more leak! The inside of the motor looked pretty clean, so I'm hoping that no damage was done over the last few weeks of running it with the shaft seal leak. At least now I feel...

    Pump shaft seal leak -

Follow up question... assuming I'm going to end up having to do this myself. Do I use a sealant (ie: DAP adhesive sealant), or a lubricant (ie: Hayward multilube) on the shaft seal? I know I will use the lube on all other o-rings and gaskets, but not sure if that is the same for the shaft seal?

    Pump shaft seal leak -

Yes, there's definitely a leak not caused by a loose impeller. But thank you for your input!

    Pump shaft seal leak -

Thank you for your reply. I know it is something I can take care of myself, but it makes me mad that it wasn't done correctly in the first place, so I want him to come out and fix it. But, as you said, good luck getting someone to come out and fix their mistake! I just wanted to know that it's...

    Pump shaft seal leak -

Hi, My question is, how long will it take for a shaft seal leak to create a problem with the pump motor/bearings? Is this something that needs to be fixed immediately? I had to have my pump motor replaced a couple of weeks ago, and after it was installed, I noticed a small leak which I can...
