Our Swim Pure T Cell 15 SWP recently quit working after 3 years and would like advice on a replacement Cell. Not sure if we need to stay with the T 15 SWP (? on what SWP means) or if we could change to a different brand/generic and still use our Swim Pure Plus panel?

We have been shocking our pool to clear up cloudy water. Its finely clear and now the FC is just down to 14. Is it ok to swim with FC at this level or do we need to wait until it drops closer to the normal range.

Yes. The water looked crystal clear and then we noticed it started looking somewhat cloudy about 5 days ago and at that time we started shocking the pool.

We did the OCLT. Last night it was 20 and this morning it is down to 18 ppm. PH is 7.2 and CC is 0.5. Water looks very clear but we are losing chlorine overnight. Do we need to shock again today or go ahead and turn the SWG back on and see if it can keep up. Thanks!

We have done the overnight test and it usually comes up by 1 ppm or so. The pool holds 18,500 gallons. So if I lower the PH today and then turn off the SWG and add enough chlorine to get to 3 to 5 ppm or do I need to raise the FC more? We are running the pump 12 hours a day and the SWG at 80 %.

We are confused on the CYA test. When testing for the CYA is the black dot not supposed to be seen at all? If that's true than after a week the CYA is only at around 20 ppm. We need further clarification on this particular test. Also, when do we need to turn on the SWG? The FC is holding at...

Thanks for the quick reply. Ok, I will wait to test the CYA and continue to keep FC at 15 overnight. Once I test CYA and its around 50 do I then turn on the SWG or should I turn it on now?
