    Thank you, that's what I was thinking, saves undoing and re-hooking it up everytime you want to backwash!

    Hi there, as the title says, I’m new to the use of a sand filter(SandPro 75D). Question is, do I have to keep the backwash plug in, switching to the backwash hose & fitting only when backwashing? Or can I just leave the backwash hose hooked up?
