Yeah not replacing the cell yet! Got the new cable and replaced it and looks like cell is back up and running. Let's see how long this goes. Any black Friday sales on Jandy PLC 1400?? 😁

Ah ok so the screws removed should free up the base holding prong but looks like due to corrosion it's not coming out! I guess best bet is to try with the new cable and see if the cell goes further.

So quick question, any guides on what speeds and schedule I can run so as to.minimize my electric $$$ and still have efficient turnover? I am thinking running for 12 hours with 2-3 hrs at 2850 rpm and then perhaps bring it down to 2000 rpm and see how that goes?

The upgrade went fine! Pump is very quiet, I asked him to leave my old Aqualink antenna too and god thing is my PDA works besides the app. The options also updates on PDA also changed and I am able to change speed. Question, what speed should I set them? Right now pool is set to run at 2850...

Update: finally got approval. So I could go with a standard variable pump that is locked at a constant speed to work with my existing controller for nothing out of pocket or I am told I can upgrade for $300 more to Jandy ePump 2.7hp. Also any inputs on if The new FlorPro is better than ePump...

Just wanted to post an update! Have not heard from warranty yet, they are still reviewing purchase and trying to approve. Not sure what replacement etc. Is being discussed. In anycase, hopefully it works out.

Spoke to the insurance company after the technician said he had sent all the info and report yesterday. After an hour long wait got someone on phone and said they have been sent to the review team for approval and will come back to me by EOD. Lets see what they come back with...

Agree, here is what the technician said when I asked him about the "V green pump" "I do not reccomend this option or this pump. It does not work directly with the aqualink. There is a special interface needed and is usually pretty troublesome. Look at the Jandy epump 2.7hp. I used to also...

Correct I am aware they are no longer legal, This is why the technician said he will replace it with a Variable speed and to work with my current controller "lock" it an optimum speed. From what I understand the Variable speed will meet the legal requirement but will work like a single speed...

I think I have the Aqualink, I have this old blue PDA that I can use to program. No way to control via any mobile app though. I believe my pump is Jandy Stealth, how do I find the size? I think It might be 3.5HP! Should I take a picture of the pump, the controller and the PDA that might help?
