    Well slow was a relative statement. I dumped in 182FL oz of 6% bleach (1gal). Should be around 10PPM FC. Gonna wait to to it levels out then bring up to shock lvl.

    Never thought about bleaching out the color. Good call. Yea I use the pool calc and TFP along with best guess shock chart all the time, even got the apps on my phone. Ill bring FC up slowly and probably start the shock tomorrow then address rest of the chems later in the week.

    I wasn't sure how long the CYA drift would take to kick in I know you dose CL as I'd its already there. I think I'll add the borates wait a full day and then drop in the sock of CYA then readjust then CL, since I'm not in a hurry. Water is still 56 degrees
