No, this is not normal, the tech states it does not happen when disconnected from the automation.

He states, “ basically, when the low-voltage wire coming from automation to my heat pump is disconnected, the heat pump works as designed.”” When l reconnect it, it starts to make the countdown skip and restart repeatedly.”

I had the manufacturer out, finally, ththey went over the unit and stated it works as designed. looks like the issue is with my automation. Is there any way that the mother board on the aqua logic can be troubleshooted?

Yes I can see it. yes the pump is running. pool was heating ok today after I reset the lockout. Switched over to spa and the heater has gone back to repeat countdown mode, stops at 87 reverts back to 120. This goes on until I power off the heater.

Not sure where to find my aqua logic version. I have to clear the heat pump WATER FLOW LOCKOUT manually on the heater. I have not touched any of the wiring , the heat pump was installed during my escrow on the home purchase and under warranty.
