Yep, I'm a plumber, so I have lots of pipe and fittings to play with. Made it last year when I read on here about high TA and raising PH through aeration etc............ Works really well! It's been running for 45 minutes, and has raised the PH about .2.

Why would your CYA be zero at opening? I thot CYA remained until a water refill?
