Another option is to buy a robot that runs on electricity to clean your pool. I have one and love it. Puts no pressure on my pump and don't need a separate line to use it just an outlet.

I also have a new pool 40*20. You can't use a regular tarp which is what you most likely saw at hd. I bought my solid (non safety) pool cover from ocean state for $140. It's 50' x 30' and designed for pools. Good luck!

Did your installer line the walls with styrofoam to sit between your panels and liner? Obviously I don't see it in the photos did you take it all off when they removed the liner? Good luck on the rust protection problem I feel terrible for your situation

My pool is larger than yours 36k. But I have 2" pipe all around pool equipment and 1.5 inch return and drain lines. The in line chlorinator has 1.5 inch plumbing so I went with offline to avoid a bottle neck like you described.

Pool is refilled and no leaks thank God. I may just silicone around the joints to be safe. Anyone know what silicone is safe for PVC and conduit and can also be buried? Can't wait to connect lights to transformer and see how they look (and confirm they work lol)
