The cove appears to be fine. It is just happening around the deck so I am assuming it is from the kids jumping of the rail. I am not sure though.

I have seen the ref to "bather load" as every person soaking in a hot (100-104f) spa, but what if the temp is 90-99f?

I have only had a spa for a little over a month, but mine has continious ozone also and I assume that is what you are talking about with 24 hour filtration. If that is the case then you should see water and bubbles coming from your ozone jets. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies. I am installing a pool next spring also. Is there a way to get a good tester that will work for both the pool and spa? Even if one is chlorine and one is bromine? If so what test kit should I get?

What if you go from a bromine hot tub directly into a chlorine pool? Are you doing basically the same thing with the same consequences?
