My pool has a two speed pump. The high speed is inoperative and the pool only operates on low speed. This has no affect on the on the chlorinator (salt water pool) but adversely effects the cleaner (Polaris) and hot tub operations. Sound like a bad pump? Pool is four years old - Jandy...

My water in my area is quite hard and I want to install an in-line filter from the main supply before it enters the house. This would help with the pool water when filled and with the water throughout the house. Any suggestions?

My cyanic acid has had to be added twice because I have had to add so much water to the pool this DRY summer.

Cleaned it. It was full of white calcium deposits. I purchased a liquid test kit with drops instaead of the test strips. Should be able to keep the water ph so this SWG does not get caked up as often.

I just got an orange service light. I think it needs to be cleaned. I am going to clean it tonight and check it again. I usually have to clean it at the start of the season and the later part of the season. Water temp is 94 - HOT Record heat in Texas!!

How do you know what persentage to run your pool chlorinator? Why not run it at 100%?

Is there a reason not to go up 90-100% for increased chlorine production?
