Ok so here is the end of day update. Took water sample after sun went down. FC was now 12.5. Added 1gal + 1 cup. Pump is running overnight and SWG is off. Will check FC in the morning Again when the sun comes up to see what the overnight loss is.

ok here goes. FC = 1.5 CC = .5 TC = 2 CYA = 50 TA = 70 CH = 300 PH = 7.4 Salt = 3500 Target for SLAM is 20 so i added 2 Gal 3 quarts of 10% liquid shock. fingers crossed thoughts????

finally got the test kit and will be starting the SLAM process today. I added 2 bags of salt per the SWG vendors recommendation. It was at 3100, they recommend 3500, it's actually at 3600 now. Water level was a little on the low side so yesterday i added some. Hopefully that will bring the CYA...

Crud, sorry, one more question. if the CYA is down to 30-40 for the SLAM process after which when i meet the 3 criteria (clear pool, no overnight loss, CC .5 or less) do i need to increase that CYA back up over 50 by adding dry stabilizer?

You got me thinking so when were swimming tonight I checked and sure enough there is small air bubbles blowing out of the returns. The pump housing cover has zero air and the filter bleeder releases zero air. Doesn’t look like I’m sucking air on the intake side. What do u think that means?
