    Ok after work, I will head to Walmart and get the CYA and drop tester. If when I put the CYA in, when I use the pool calculator, do I list my CYA now value at 40? I'm sure I will need to add more bleach, and I don't want to put too much again.

    I have not added any cya, just the bleach and the algae guard, that is all. This is my very first time with a pool and chemicals, I wasn't sure if adding bleach put any cya in the water.
