leaking joint at Intex SWG and return hose

This is a brand new system - 2019-2020 version. I wonder if there are just no parts available yet? Yes, all hoses show the same issue but those hoses hold fine on the sand filter or pump.

leaking joint at Intex SWG and return hose

I have the black seal - the pipe threads for the pipe vs the nut are so far off spec that they don't hold. Intex is sending me a new one eventually.

    What a headache

We used Oldcastle 4 in. x 16 in. x 16 in. Mobile Home Concrete Pad Block-30151698 - The Home Depot You need something so the legs don't sink down into the soil. The 2" thick may work but not the 1" thick. To get an idea of what you are into look at the directions online on the manufacturer...

He should remove the sod and dig down to level. Start with the low spot and remove the rest to match. He should have at the very least a water level but best would be a laser transit level. Sand is only used to fill in small divots. You will use the tarp to protect the bottom of the pool. Are...

    What a headache

You are right! (I corrected my silly post) not a 28' pool :) Call him and ask - I agree with the previous poster - if he will clear and level that correctly and haul away the mess then $230 would be well worth it.

    What a headache

His math is right. (EDIT: nope it was not) Area of a circle is pi*r^2 (7^2)*3.14 = 154 sq ft. Also you need him to clear a bit more than that. If he will clear and LEVEL that area and haul away all the mess then that is not a crazy price for this summer. It would be high during other times...

leaking joint at Intex SWG and return hose

My new Intex 16x32 pool is leaking at the SWG output to the pool. Krystal Clear 2150 GPH Pump, 16" Sand Filter System and Saltwater generator. When first assembled it leaked so I took it apart and put it all back together and it ran fine for a while but sometime in the night it opened up...

New Build Intex Ultra XTR 16x32x52" with Saltwater system

Off and on a few weeks. About 1 week longer than I planned. Legs are on 4 in. x 16 in. x 16 in. Mobile Home Concrete Pad Blocks (Oldcastle 4 in. x 16 in. x 16 in. Mobile Home Concrete Pad Block-30151698 - The Home Depot) I would recommend using a few water levels. Once my daughter and wife...

The other solution is to move the pump closer to the outlet and plumb additional water lines back to the pool. That would be safer.

He is some sort of a mix. He is a double rescue. He was saved from the street by the rescue group and then the first family gave him back after several months because they couldn't handle him. He has his forever home now.
