We are going to soak our SWG cell in muriatic acid to clean it (and hope it fixes it). But once it's done soaking, how do we dispose of the acid? Also, Hubby wants to soad it over night, will that be too long?

We run our pump 24/7 and have our SWG turned up to 70-80% and now inspect cell and low salt lights are on. We've added a lot of salt, more than usual and it still says low salt. I can't find information about what it should be and when to backwash. Pool store told us to just do it once a week and we'd be fine, but I'm learning quickly not to trust the pool store. So, how do I know? Current pressure is about 22.
