"better" could be defined in many ways..Sand filter maybe easier to clean, and maybe less expensive to replace. I had a intex cartridge filter and got so tired of needing to clean it almost daily.

thats the pressure its been at in the year i've had it. The lable reads it needs to be backflushed when the gauge reaches 7psi.

Well I'm of the opinion that pool water flowing through 3/4 inch black pipe on the black shingles on my roof should do a good job of heating the water as it flows through. Anyone had success doing this?
